Garden-to-Table Program: This program started in the Spring of 2022. Students learned about and planted their own seedlings. In the summertime, they will be invited back several times to plant and tend the Medard’s House garden they will help create behind our building. In the fall, students will harvest our crops and learn how to prepare them in our newly renovated learning kitchen. Of course,

the kids will learn how to safely use, prepare, and eat the fresh food, but they will also learn the techniques to preserve large crops through blanching, canning, and pickling.
